Aamir Khan celebrated the festival at the residence of his sister Nikhat. In the viral images, the PK actor can be seen doing aarti of lord Ganesha.

In another post, Aamir is joined by his sister Nikhat and her husband Santosh Hegde in the celebrations. The Dangal actor can be seen in a grey kurta pyjama set while his sister adorns a pink saree. His son Azad is seen casually dressed in a blue t-shirt and black boxers.

What is Aamir Khan busy with?

The actor is currently busy with his next acting project Sitaare Zameen Par, co-starring Genelia D'Souza. A source shared an update to Pinkvilla, "The Rajkumar Santoshi film that Aamir could act in is an out-and-out comic caper. The writing work is presently in progress and Aamir will take a call on his next acting venture by the end of October, once the final edit of Sitaare Zameen Par is locked.” The movie is expected to hit the theatres around Christmas 2024.

The actor is also looking to take his banner, Aamir Khan Productions, to a height and has been busy finalising the projects. Apart from the projects, a Pinkvilla report suggested that the actor is not interested in pre-seeling the digital rights of his movies. He is planning to revive the social comedy genre and wants to keep it exclusively for the big screens for at least 12 weeks. "He will sell the digital rights only after the release of the film in the cinema halls. While the digital medium is keeping the box-office clause in the contract, Aamir is willing to sell and value his film based on the audience's reception of the content on theatrical release. His idea is to go back to the good old days when viewers didn’t have any idea about the satellite premieres," the source told Pinkvilla.
