Sunny Kaushal is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey. The movie will be premiered on Netflix today in the afternoon. Ahead of the release, the actor appeared on Raunaq Rajani’s Relationshit Advice show, where he introduced himself as "single".

Sunny has been rumoured to be dating Sharvari Wagh since they worked together in a show The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye. However, his recent statement has left the rumoured couple's fans puzzled, sparking break-up rumours.

In a recent interview, Sunny was asked if he is dating Sharvari, he brushed that off by saying that she is a "very good friend" and added, "I am single". On hearing this, Taapsee and Vikrant broke into laughter. His statement has come weeks after a video from the intimate success bash of Munjya went viral. It showed the actor recording a candid video of Sharvari as she grooves to a song from the film with her co-stars.

Sunny and Sharvari never shied away from the media and were often snapped in Mumbai spending quality time together.

In the sequel, Sunny plays the role of a new lover of Rani (played by Taapsee). Opening up about his experience working with Taapsee and Vikrant, he said, "Joining the universe of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba has been an incredible opportunity. The first film created a unique world that left the audience wanting more. It certainly did leave an indelible mark on them. Being able to add my own colour to that canvas is by far one of the most exciting experiences."
