Ishq Vishk Rebound Weekend BO Collection: Rohit Starrer Witnesses Upward Trend, Mints ₹3.55 Crore

Ishq Vishk Rebound is having a hard time at the box office to increase the footfall. Starring Rohit Saraf, Naila Grrewal and debutants Pashmina Roshan and Jibraan Khan, the movie opened at ₹1.20 crore. On the second day (Saturday), the movie witnessed a 20 per cent increase in the daily collection. In two days, the movie earned over ₹2 crore at domestic box office.

Helmed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, the movie minted ₹1.40 crore on the third day, as per early estimates reported by Sacnilk. Adding the three-day collections, the movie managed to earn ₹3.55 crore in its first weekend. Ishq Vishk Rebound had an overall 17.69 per cent Hindi occupancy on Sunday, with the maximum reported in Chennai (54.67 per cent).
The movie is facing tough competition with previous releases - Chandu Champion and Munjya. The horror-comedy had been ruling the box office chart for the past weeks and managed to mint over ₹80 crore in the third weekend. Chandu Champion, on the other hand, also saw growth in its second weekend. It performed decently on its first 9 days at the box office and earned an estimated ₹42.75 crore India net. Its comeback in the second weekend is noteworthy.
What else do we know about Ishq Vishk Rebound?
The movie is all about Gen Z: love, friendship, heartbreak, complications and issues. A love quadrangle that has its share of highs and lows. The movie serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2003 film Ishq Vishk, starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. In addition to the main cast, the film stars social media influencer turned actor Kusha Kapila, alongside veteran actors Supriya Pilgaonkar, Akarsh Khurana, Shataf Figar and Sheeba Chadha. The rom-com is produced by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Films, the same production house behind the original 2003 film.
