Jaane Jaan trailer: Kareena Kapoor plays deadly game with Vijay Varma, Jaideep Ahlawat

Jaane Jaan trailer was released by the makers on Tuesday. The thriller brings together the trio of Kareena Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma, with each of them playing mysterious characters hiding secrets. The Sujoy Ghosh directorial holds promise and will stream on Netflix from September 21.

Jaane Jaan trailer is exhilarating 

The movie revolves around Maya (Kareena Kapoor), who kills her abusive husband to protect her daughter. However, her neighbor Naren Vyas, played by Jaideep Ahlawat witnesses the crime. Since Naren harbours feelings for Maya, he helps her cover up but detective Karan Anand, played by Vijay Varma, gets a sniff of some wrongdoing. Maya, then, becomes his prime suspect.   

Jaideep's look stands out. The setting and the cold weather of Kalimpong make the thriller more ambient. One of the scenes that depicts Jaideep and Vijay doing martial arts is also interesting. Since Sujoy has a knack for making thrillers (Kahaani, Badla) he will look to present an intriguing watch with Jaane Jaan.

Jaane Jaan is adapted from popular Japanese novel

Jaane Jaan is a crime thriller, which is based on the Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. Published in 2005, the novel is about the battle of wits between a math prodigy and his equally talented batch mate, who is probing the case of murder.
