Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated movie Ulajh. However, another reason for her being in the news is because of her personal life. The actress neither confirms nor denies that she is dating Shikhar Pahariya, but their being together everywhere is enough to confirm their relationship status. In interviews too, she never takes her name but never shies away from talking about her love life. Speaking of which, in a recent interview, the actress candidly spoke about suffering heartbreak and how she reunited with him every time.

For the unversed, in the whole interview, she hasn't taken Shikhar's name but if one connects the dots it is easy to guess whom she is talking about.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Janhvi revealed that Shikhar was the only guy, she suffered heartbreak. When she was dating him, she would break up with him every month and reunite with him after 2-3 days. “In the couple of years of my periods, every month I would break up with this person. The first two or three months, he would be in shock, but after that, he would be like, ‘Yes, okay,’ and after two days, I would go back to him crying and saying sorry. I wouldn’t understand why my brain was working like this. It was very extreme,” Janhvi shared.

The Dhadak actress shared that she was heartbroken by Shikhar, but he fixed it back eventually. “I have genuinely experienced heartbreak only one time in life but the same person came back and put my heart together. So, it was all good,” she concluded. The actress dated Shikhar before stepping into the acting world. However, she broke up and was single while shooting for his debut movie Dhadak. She reconciled with him when her mother and legendary actress Sridevi died in 2018.

Helmed by Sudhanshu Saria, the movie also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain in the lead roles.  The plot focuses on a young IFS officer with a legacy of patriots in her family, entangled in a dangerous personal conspiracy amidst a career-defining post far away from her home. The movie will release on August 2.
