Khel Khel Mein Review: The film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role hit the big screen on August 15. It was released alongside Vedaa and Stree 2 and has received a positive response at the box office. Viewers who caught early shows of the movie took to their social media accounts to share their first reviews of it. While some argued that the film was flawed in its writing, others mentioned that it is a very well-made movie that could have done better at the box office had it gotten a ‘better release strategy’. 

Social media users hail Akshay Kumar in Khel Khel Mein 

On August 15, as soon as the film hit the big screen, social media users rushed to the platform to share their reviews of the Akshay Kumar starrer. The movie is an official adaptation of the Spanish drama Perfect Strangers. The movie is touted to provide a delightful mix of laugh-out-loud moments and heartwarming scenes that resonate deeply. 
 

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) account, a user wrote, "Just watched #KhelKhelMeinReview and it’s a masterpiece! 🎥 @akshaykumar is at his best, and the movie is engaging from start to finish. Bollywood is back with a bang!" Another mentioned, “Just came after watching #KhelKhelMain . A fantastic film. Dialogues, humour and performances are so good. I personally liked this film" Another echoed the sentiment and wrote, "#KhelKhelMain pure family entertainer. @akshaykumar sir comedy level unmatchable "
 

However, one user mentioned that the film does not do justice as a remake. They noted, "#KhelKhelMein is an EPIC MISFIRE. #AkshayKumar is in top form with all his look, performance and OG comic timing, but uses it in the wrong film. The Western concepts without modifications are hard to digest. Few funny moments, the only value." On the contrary a user wrote, "Finished watching #KhelKhelMein in a houseful show and what an experience it was everyone was laughing throughout the movie. Vintage @akshaykumar sir is back with his comic timing. The rest of the star cast also did a very good job."

Khel Khel Mein marks Akshay Kumar's return to comedy

The film secured the August 15 release date after the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule was postponed to December 6. This film marks Ammy Virk’s second recent Hindi release after Bad Newz, which also starred Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. 'Khel Khel Mein' will now clash with the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Stree 2 at the box office. Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Wakaoo Films, Khel Khel Mein is a T-Series film, Wakaoo Films, and KKM Film production. It is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai.
