Khushi Kapoor, daughter later veteran star Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, and sister of Janhvi Kapoor, made her acting debut with The Archies. In the movie, she played the lead role of Betty Cooper, opposite debutants Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan. Since then, the actress has been enjoying a huge fan base. However, she is recently in the news for her candid move by seemingly confessing to undergoing plastic surgery.

A fan page dedicated to Khushi Kapoor shared a video with a then-and-now clip. The video starts with Sridevi and Boney arriving at an event with her daughter Janhvi and 12-year-old Khushi, followed by Khushi at the premiere of The Archies. In the comment section, a user compared both her looks and wrote, "I'll be honest, Khushi looks so similar to how she used to look. Like it genuinely js looks like she lost weight”. The page replied by thanking the user and claimed that Khushi had lip fillers, “THANK YOU. She was 12 here, she also just got braces, she got lip fillers and that was that”.

Soon after she dropped the comment, netizens hailed the actress for confessing about her surgery. A user wrote, "@khushi05k love people who own up to their work. There’s literally nothing wrong w it and i wanna do it too." Another wrote, "Lmaoo this is real I just cross checked. Good that she’s owning up to it. It’s her money , she got it done for herself and isn’t pretending to be natural so I hope plastic hate stops”.

What's next for Khushi Kapoor?

Khushi will reportedly be next seen alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan in a rom-com drama Naadaniyaan. Ibrahim is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's son. The movie is said to be produced by Dharma Productions and might directly release on OTT, according to a report in Pinkvilla. It will be helmed by Shauna Gautam, who will be making her directorial debut under Dharmatic Entertainment. More details regarding the project is yet to be known.
