Pankaj Tripathi visits Siddhivinayak Temple ahead of Main Atal Hoon release

Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who is busy promoting his upcoming biopic, Main Atal Hoon, on Monday was spotted at the Siddhivinayak Temple. Pankaj was accompanied by the director of the movie Ravi Jadhav, producer Sandeep Singh, and other team members of the movie. The OMG 2 actor wore a white kurta and dhoti and carried a red cloth around his neck.

The movie is based on the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's extraordinary life from childhood to adulthood journey. He also visited Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Center of Excellence in the city to celebrate the 99th birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister. The makers also shared the first song titled Desh Phele. The song takes you into the world of Vajpayee, a poet who rewrote history. Sung by Jubin Nautiyal, the heart-touching lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir and composed by Payal Dev.

Directed by award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, and written by Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav, the movie is a Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios production, produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali.

Main Atal Hoon chronicles the extraordinary life and political journey of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, India's 10th Prime Minister, and reveals his multifaceted persona as a poet, gentleman, and statesman. The film will hit the big screens on January 19, 2024.

During the interaction with media in Mumbai at the trailer launch of the film, talking about his role, Tripathi said, "We have tried to showcase those moments of his life in the film which are not known to the public and which are not available on any public platform. I have read so much about him that I can write a book about him and it will be bigger than this film. I have seen all his interviews, read so much about him that I have understood his persona."

On the use of prosthetics to get his look right, Tripathi said, "It used to take two hours daily. We shot this film in May and June when it was scorching hot. And it was really difficult to shoot after donning that look. I have shed my blood and sweat for this film."

Directed by Ravi Jadhav, Main Atal Hoon captures the multifaceted personality of the country's 10th prime minister, who was widely hailed as a poet, a gentleman, and a statesman, this movie is scheduled for release on January 19, 2024.
