Celebrations were in full swing in Jaipur as Meera Chopra, cousin of Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, exchanged vows with businessman Rakshit Kejriwal on March 12. The couple sealed their union amidst family and friends at a lavish resort in the city, marking the beginning of their journey together.

Before their wedding ceremony, the couple hosted a vibrant sangeet night in Jaipur. The two-day festivities kicked off with a mehendi and sangeet ceremony on March 11th at the Buena Vista Luxury Garden Spa Resort on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. The star-studded sangeet witnessed the presence of eminent guests from the film industry, including Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, and Gaurav Chopra, among others.

Why did Priyanka Chopra miss Meera Chopra’s wedding?

Although Priyanka couldn't attend due to her professional commitments, her mother Madhu Chopra graced the occasion. The guest list also featured prominent personalities with whom Meera has collaborated, such as Madhur Bhandarkar and Arjun Bajwa.

The mehendi ceremony which was held in the late afternoon, adorned Meera's hands with intricate designs showcasing Rakshit's initials alongside Shiv and Parvati mantras. The now-bride wore a white floor-length Anarkali suit, while Rakshit looked dashing in a blue three-piece suit during one of the events on the first day of celebrations.
