Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are gearing up for their upcoming movie Mr & Mrs Mahi. The duo are busy promoting their movie across the country. In a recent interview, Janhvi and Rajkummar opened up about being scrutinised by the audience owing to fillers and surgery.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi and Rajkummar opened up about receiving a flak by netizens for fillers. Rajkummar said that when people ask such questions it bothers him. He added that people should talk about their work as that's what they live for and have dedicated their lives to. However apart from that it's none of anybody's business.
Janhvi Kapoor added that she has now understood that people enjoy making conversations like that. "I think it’s more entertaining for them to have these conversations. But, I think especially when you have a portfolio like Raj (Rajkummar), none of this matters. You are not remembered for this headline you’re remembered for what you do on celluloid.”
Last month, during the promotions of Srikanth, the actor was in the news for allegedly undergoing plastic surgery. He denied rumours of any such development. The rumours sparked after an edited photo of the actor with changed looks went viral on social media. Reacting to the photo, the actor said he has not undergone any plastic surgery, however, 8-10 years back he had chin fillers. He said, that during his initial days, people commented on his looks which prompted him to get minor changes in his face, but he is still the same person.
In an interview with PTI, he said, “When I was looking for work and when I started working, people commented on my looks and everything. So, eight-nine years back, I did a little touch up on my chin with fillers, which is like a half an hour job, because I wanted to feel more confident, which I do.”
Mr & Mrs Mahi will hit the theatres on May 31.
