Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy promoting his film Animal, likened his character Arjun Singh to the title of the film at a promotional event in Chennai. Ranbir explained that animals behave "out of instinct" and "not out of thought".
“Once you see the film, you will understand. I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film Animal is because animal behaves out of instinct. They don't behave out of thought,” Ranbir said.

He further said that his character is aggressive and possessive for his family so his role is similar to the animals' characteristics. “So this character that I'm playing, he behaves out of instinct to protect his family. He is not thinking he is behaving out of instinct, he is impulsive, and I think that's where the title Animal came and once you see the film you'll realize that this film suits this title,” he added.
About Animal trailer
The Animal trailer is largely centered on the father-son relationship. In the trailer, Ranbir looks raw and intense. His character is highly in awe of and obsessed with his father, and he is seen trying to please him in every way. Moreover, considering the secrecy surrounding the movie's plot, it is also conceivable that Anil’s absence is intentional, strategically aligning with the film's mysterious aura.
