Rani Mukerji reveals what has 'spoilt' Aditya Chopra: It’s become a big problem

Rani Mukerji, in a recent interview, opened up about her husband, film producer Aditya Chopra being comfortable about stepping out in public. The film producer, who prefers to stay away from the limelight ever since he stepped into the film industry, recently broke his rule and featured in the docu-series on his production house Yash Raj Films and its enduring legacy. However, Rani revealed how it has spoilt him.

 'The Romantics has spoilt Aditya Chopra,' says Rani Mukerji

Speaking to Film Companion, Rani Mukerji opened up about Aditya Chopra is an outgoing person but does not mingle much with the "film people". However, out of the two, he is the "bigger recluse". She added that the newfound fame (after appearing in Netflix's The Romantics) has spoilt him. 

“He’s just not outgoing with film people, but he’s quite outgoing. His prominent appearance in Netflix’s The Romantics has spoilt him," said Rani.

'Aditya Chopra is enthusiastic to go out' 

The Black actress added that she married a guy who was outgoing but also happy to stay at home. "It would’ve been really difficult if I had a husband who was like, ‘Hey, let’s go out partying’. I chose right in that department. He doesn’t force me to go anywhere, I don’t force him to go anywhere. We are so happy being at home," she added.

However, after appearing at The Romantics, the producer is quite enthusiastic about going out, and it has become a "big problem" for her. "It’s become a big problem, because I chose to marry a guy who isn’t known (publicly),” reasoned Rani.

Rani and Aditya tied the knot in 2014 after dating for years. The couple welcomed their daughter Adhira a year later.
