The makers of Sab Moh Maya Hai released their trailer this evening. The comedy film, starring Sharman Joshi and Annu Kapoor in the lead roles, is co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vinod Bhanushali. In the age of OTT vs theatrical battle, Sab Moh Maya Hai is a rare film to go for a direct-to-TV release.
The film promises a dysfunctional yet humorous father-son story
By the looks of its trailer, Sab Moh Maya Hai seems to be the story of a dysfunctional father-son relationship, where the father figure is exasperated with his good-for-nothing unemployed son who just cannot manage to find a job, and is rather fixated on getting a government job just like his father.
Things then take an amusing turn when the father figure decides to stage his fake death and personally supervise his last rites as a last attempt at regaining authority - and amidst these screwball events, rises a hope of restarting the relationship with his son from scratch.
Sab Moh Maya Hai premieres on TV on November 18
Sab Moh Maya Hai is the first time where Sharman Joshi and Annu Kapoor are working together, and the trailer promises great performances from both of two. Besides Joshi and Kapoor, the film also stars Spruha Joshi in a prominent role. Joshi was earlier noticed in OTT series like Rangbaaz and The Indian adaptation of popular sitcom The Office.
