Sharvari Wagh recently had a pinch me moment when she came face to face with who she says is one of her biggest inspirations when it comes to the career path she took. The Bunty Aur Babli 2 actress, who is currently gearing up for her films Maharaja and Vedaa, opened up about meeting Madhuri Dixit Nene, detailing how much the veteran actress has inspired her. Sharvari also clicked a selfie with Dixit, capturing the moment.

Sharvari Wagh says Madhuri Dixit has been her childhood inspiration
In a recent media interaction, Sharvari Wagh opened up about her experience meeting Madhuri Dixit. Growing up in a Maharashtrian household, Sharvari recalled how Madhuri was widely considered the perfect heroine.
Not just this, long before Sharvari knew she wanted to be an actress, she recalls trying to mimic Madhuri’s moves and dance steps to try and be like her. The actress also admitted to having seen all of Madhuri’s movies. She said, “I’ve grown up watching all her movies, I’ve come home and tried to learn every hook step of her songs.”

At a recent event, Sharvari Wagh happened to be seated next to Madhuri Dixit. The two proceeded to have a conversation in Marathi, which was a highlight for Sharvari. Not just this, Sharvari also managed to take a selfie with her idol - although she said that her hands were shaking while doing the same.

She said, “ I asked her for a selfie after mustering a lot of courage. Though my hands were shaking, my heart was smiling.” On the work front, Sharvari is currently shooting for Nikhil Advani’s Vedaa with John Abraham. She will next commence work on Maharaja as well as a YRF spy film with Alia Bhatt.
