Shatrughan Sinha In Celebratory Mood Ahead Of Daughter Sonakshi's Wedding, Shuts Down Rift Rumours

Shatrughan Sinha seems to be in celebratory mode days ahead of his daughter Sonakshi’s wedding. The actress is all set to tie the knot with long-time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. However, rumours were rife that her family members had opposed the union and might not attend the wedding. However, a new photo that surfaced online has confirmed that the family is in celebration mode already. 

Shatrughan Sinha dines with friends ahead of daughter’s wedding 

Shutting down rumours of rife between family members, Shatrughan Sinha was seen enjoying the company of friends on June 19. The veteran actor was spotted at a high-end hotel in Mumbai days before his daughter’s wedding. He was joined by Pahlaj Nihalani, film critic, and author Bharathi S for the dinner. 

Bharathi S Pradhan shared a photo of the trio on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “With father of the bride @ShatruganSinha & Sonakshi's 'Pahlaj Uncle' @NihalaniPahlaj a couple of hours ago at #Chambers @TajLandsEnd. Also in the pic, host #JitenDoshi & Dr Manish. It's celebration time in the Sinha parivar!” The photo is now doing rounds on social media as a confirmation that the veteran actor is happy about the wedding.

Shatrughan Sinha shuts down rumours of rife 

On the morning of June 20, popular paparazzi Varinder Chawla took to his account to share that Shatrughan Sinha has shut down rumours of being upset about Sonakshi’s wedding. The post read, “#SonakshiSinha and #ZaheerIqbal are getting married this month. There had been rumours that Sonakshi’s father, #ShatrughanSinha, might not attend the wedding because he was upset about her decision to marry Zaheer. However, Shatrughan has now confirmed that he will indeed be attending the wedding, putting an end to the speculation.” 

As per the paparazzi, Shatrughan said, “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will certainly be there at the wedding. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?” While talking about the fake reports, he said, “I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind only your business.”
