Sonam Kapoor and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23 this year. The couple had a civil marriage followed by a lavish yet intimate reception which was attended by Rekha, Kajol, Tabu, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari-Siddharth and Sanjay Leela Bhansali among others. In their latest post on Instagram, the couple have sparked pregnancy rumours.

In the latest post shared by Sonakshi Sinha, the couple are seen posing with an adorable pet dog. Along with the pictures, the caption read, “Guess the pookie”. Sonakshi is looking stunning in a red anarkali suit that is decked with mirror work, while Zaheer looks dapper in a simple blue kurta.

As soon as the pictures were shared, fans speculated that the Heeramandi actress might be pregnant and flooded the comment section. One user wrote, “Congratss for having lil one soon”. Another user wrote, “Is she pregnant”. “Guess you are pregnant”, wrote the third user.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal reportedly met for the first time at a party hosted by a Bollywood actor. Both the actors made their debut with a film under the same banner. Sonakshi debuted with Dabangg (2010), while Zaheer’s first film was Notebook (2019). It is said that the couple fell in love at the party they attended together. 

The actors reportedly kept their romance under wraps until 2023 when they attended an Eid bash together. Subsequently, they attended Huma Qureshi’s birthday party and Sharmin Sehgal’s reception together. Since then they have often been spotted in public together. They even engage in social media exchange which further fueled the rumours of their romance. The couple also acted together in the comedy-drama film Double XL in 2022.
