Stree 2 Advance Bookings Open, Special Shows To Begin On Independence Day Eve

Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 to hit the theatres. Now, as the horror comedy is just a week away, the makers have opened the advance booking of the film. However, what grabbed our attention was the movie is getting additional benefits as compared to Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein.

Stree 2 shows to start on Independence Day Eve

The makers on Saturday, shared a new poster of Stree 2 and revealed that the movie will release in theatres on August 14 with night shows starting from 9:30 PM. "Stree 2 - Advance Booking Open Now. Woh Stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai! Isilye woh aa rahi hai ek raat pehle, just for you. "#Stree2, the legend returns on Independence Day eve, with night shows from 9:30 pm onwards on 14th August 2024," the studio posted along with a poster of the film.

This is an added advantage to Stree 2 at the Hindi box office as the movie which will be clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa, will hit the theatres on August 15 as scheduled.

What else do we know about Stree 2?

Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the key roles. Stree 2 is the fifth instalment in Maddock's Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya. The sequel will continue after the events of Stree, where the small town of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, will now be haunted by a headless creature who is abducting women. The movie will witness three to four cameos, including a crossover with Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya.
