Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Rajkummar Starrer Achieves Milestone, Rakes In ₹135.7 Crore

Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is unstoppable at the box office. The movie became the highest Hindi grosser of 2024 by opening at over ₹54 crores. However, on Friday, the movie witnessed a 39.38 per cent dip in the numbers. Now, once again, the collection is on track as Saturday witnessed a 40.13 per cent hike (from Friday) in the collection at the box office.

Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy has become the first movie to enter ₹100 crore club in just 3 days. On Saturday (August 18), Stree 2 racked ₹44 crore, according to early estimates reported by Sacnilk. Adding the 3-day collection, the total stands at ₹135.7 crore at the Indian box office. This has become Shraddha and Rajkummar's first movie as a lead to earn ₹100 crore in just 3 days.

The movie had an overall 61.96% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday with the maximum reported in Bengaluru (81.75 per cent).

Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao or Pankaj Tripathi, who is the highest-paid cast member?

As per GQ India’s report, Shraddha Kapoor received ₹5 crore for Stree 2, while Rajkummar has received a pay cheque of ₹6 crore and Pankaj Tripathi ₹3 crore. Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, who had supporting roles, received a paycheck of ₹55 lakh and ₹70 lakh, respectively. On the other hand, Varun, who had a cameo in Stree 2 as Bhaskar aka Bhediya has reportedly charged ₹2 crore. Akshay's fees for his role as Sarkata's descendant is not known yet.

When & where will Stree 2 release on OTT?

After its theatrical run, the Shraddha Kapoor starrer will be available for movie buffs on Prime Video. While it remains unclear when the film will premiere online, given its reception at the box office, it is expected to be a long wait for its OTT premiere.
