Stree 2 Box Office Collection: Will Shraddha Kapoor's Film Enter ₹500 Crore Club In 3rd Weekend?

Stree 2 Box Office: The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer horror comedy has done good business in its third weekend. Now, it is all set to enter into the 500 crore club, becoming the first Hindi film this year to achieve this milestone. The third weekend business of Stree 2 has been terrific so far, with Sunday left to go. However, it is quite possible that its entry in the 500 club could be delayed and may come when it enters its fourth week.

Stree 2 box office breakdown

According to Taran Adarsh, Stree 2 collected ₹9.25 crore on Friday followed by ₹17.40 crore on Saturday. It is estimated to do similar collections on Sunday too. At present, the film has minted ₹480.25 crore at the domestic box office. It witnessed a jump of about 88% in its business on Saturday after earning in single digits on its third Friday. Taran also noted that collecting ₹45 crore or more in the third weekend is an impressive feat in itself and Stree 2 may be one of the few films that has maintained its momentum at the box office as it nears 20 days of its release.

Shraddha looks back at her Stree journey

Shraddha Kapoor, who is basking in the success of her recent film Stree 2, treated fans with a special throwback picture that was taken six years ago during the making of the first Stree film. The actress took to her Instagram account to share a collage of two pictures in which the actress looked stunning in a red off-shoulder dress, posing alongside Stree director Amar Kaushik and the film's producer, Dinesh Vijan.

The trio can also be seen smiling brightly. Along with the post, the actress wrote a caption that read, "6 saal puraane photos, pehli "Stree" ke dauraan humaare "Stree" aur "Stree 2" ke super duper blockbuster producer aur director ke saath Thank you Dinoo aur Amar @amarkaushik mujhe apne kamaal, bemisaal aur lajavaab "Stree" picharon mein shamil karne."
