Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has shared a new poster for the war drama Sam Bahadur on his Instagram account. The poster features Kaushal as India's first Field Marshal and war hero, Sam Manekshaw. Sam Bahadur, is starred by Vicky Kaushal, which delves into the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. With a decorated career of four decades and five wars. Manekshaw was the first Indian Army officer to attain the rank of Field Marshal to show his brilliance during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the movie features Sanya Malhotra as Sam Bahadur’s wife Silloo Manekshaw and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi. Just two days ago, Vicky Kaushal also shared a poster to inform the movie watchers that the advance booking is open for them.
Sam Bahadur is scheduled to release on December 1. This movie is clashing with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal at the box office.

During the teaser launch of the movie last month, when he was being asked to share his perspective at the box office clash, he said, "We, as an industry, should give the option of multiple films on the same day to the audience. That's how we will flourish as an industry."
The actor also shared that if he gets the Oscar for the movie, he will dedicate it to the Indian Army.

Ahead of the release of their film Sam Bahadur, actors Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra with director Meghna Gulzar sought blessings at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. Taking to Instagram, Vicky shared a slew of pictures with his co-star and director at the Golden Temple as they prayed for their film, based on the life of India's first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw.
