Uska Skeleton Mila...: Vijayta Pandit Breaks Silence On Sister Sandhya's Murder

Vijyata Pandit, who earned the fame with 1981 hit movie Loe Story, has candidly opened up about her sister Sandhya Pandit's murder. The former actress has four siblings - two sisters and two brothers. While the three (Sulakshana, Jatin and Lalit Pandit) are still alive, her sister Sandhya died reportedly in 2012. In an interview with Lehren Retro, she shared that Sandhya went missing in 2012 and a month later he partial skeleton was found. In the interview, she also revealed that her family has not told her elder sister Sulakshana.

'We found her skeleton'

Speaking to the portal, Vijyata shared that they never thought that all of a sudden something like this could happen. "She (Sandhya) was quite happy in her marriage... I don't know what happened. We never even found her, we found her skeleton. First her family said she has gone missing, so we used to go, me and my brothers Lalit and Jatin, to look for her everywhere. After a long time, they found her bones scattered in different places. It was a very big thing."

Why Vijyata's family has kept Sandhya's murder a secret from elder sister Sulakshana?

In the same conversation, the former actress shared that the family has kept it as a secret from Sulakshana even till today. Sulakshana, who was also a playback singer and an actress, is unaware of her sister's death. "This is the first time I am saying this. I never told her because if she finds out, she will die that very moment," Vijyata continued.

"I keep telling her that our sister is fine, she lives in Indore, and that she calls me too. Sulakshana thinks she is alive, she asks me to send her love to our sister as she doesn't use a mobile phone. I swear on God, I have to keep up with the act even to this day," Vijyata added.

What do we know about Sandhya Pandit's murder case?

According to media reports, Sandhya's son, Raghuveer Singh, has been acquitted from the charges of murdering her in 2012. A Thane sessions court said the prosection couldn't establish the motive except that he was addicted to alcohol.
