The first song of Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Batti Gul Meter Chaalu', released recently. 'Gold Tamba' is a peppy song that would set your foot tapping. Nau Malik has composed the music of the song and the lyrics have been penned by Siddharth and Garima.
The lead actor of the film- Shahid Kapoor posted a hilarious video on Instagram, where the 'Haider' actor can be seen imitating Anu Malik's voice. As soon as Anu Malik turns the camera towards Shahid Kapoor the actor starts singing the iconic song 'Ek garam chai ki pyaali ho' imitating Anu Malik's husky voice. To this, the composer starts singing the unreleased song from 'Batti Gul Meter Chaalu'. In the background, Kapoor yells as to not reveal the song.
Anu Malik then hums the tune from another song titled 'Taskari' and asks Shahid to sing it. The 'Jab we met' actor continues to imitate Anu Malik and starts singing 'Taskari' in his husky voice. Malik too joins in the banter and sings it in his typical style.
Anu Malik also introduces the lyricist of the songs- Garima and Siddharth. The two lines of the song in itself was very catchy and seems like another hit song from Anu Malik's kitty. Anu Malik has in the past produced several hit compositions that are even popular to date. Some of the popular songs are 'Gori Gori', 'Oonchi hai building', 'Janam samjha Karo' among several others.
