When Aishwarya Rai Reacted To Being Called The 'Other Woman' In Abhishek Bachchan's Life

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan appeared on an episode of a popular reality show together in 2010, three years after their marriage. In the episode, the host of the show asks Abhishek if he ever feels ‘torn' between Jaya and Aishwarya and how he balances them. The actor can be seen humbly giving all the credit to the women in the house. 

The host of the show asked Abhishek, “You feel Abhishek, at any point, you’ve been torn between the three women in your life? Because you know, you have the apple of Jaya Aunty’s eyes and Shweta’s (his sister) life and now you have another woman in your life. Have you ever felt that you need to juggle the act at all?” To this Aishwarya Rai wittingly replied, “The only time the wife will be called the other woman.” The actor shared, "Yeah, I think credit has to be given entirely to the girls. I have very little to do with it. What works also is that Maa and her (Aishwarya) are very close. They talk about everything. When a woman first comes to her husband’s house, she feels a bit out of place, evidently and obviously. I think the only person who can truly fill that void is her mother-in-law.” A video of the same was shared by a fan page earlier and has now resurfaced online.

Amid reports of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai parting ways, the actor’s social media activity has raised suspicion. On July 17, days after the rumours of their split first surfaced online, the actor seemingly showed his appreciation in a post talking about divorces. The actor’s activity has now gone viral on social media.
