Arshad Warsi recently wrapped up the shooting of Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Akshay Kumar. The courtroom drama marks his return to the big screen after two years. Now, as he is awaiting the release of the movie, the actor is busy with the interviews and in a recent interaction with Samdish Bhatia, he recalled an incident when Jaya Bachchan scolded him for his unfiltered behaviour.

In a recent interview, Arshad recalled the time when he was new in the industry and received a message from Jaya Bachchan over his inappropriate dress on the flight. He said, "I was new in the film industry and my knowledge was zero. I came from a different world. During my first film, Tere Mere Sapne, we had to go to Hyderabad to shoot and I sat on the flight wearing a chaddi and baniyan. Pehle toh vaise he ghoomte thay dance-vanse karte thay (We used to wear such clothes earlier. We were dancers)."
He added when the veteran actress got to know about this, she sent him a message asking him to dress appropriately while travelling.

The actor recalled another incident with Jaya Bachchan, who scolded him for his unabashed opinion. He shared that once Jaya Bachchan called him to review a movie and share feedback. After the movie ended, she asked his opinion, and Arshad directly said, "Bakwas". On hearing this, she took him to the corner and said, "Keep your opinion to yourself.’ These are lessons learnt.” Arshad further mentioned, "Sach toh bolna he nahi hai doesn’t matter how bad is the film."

As we told you above, Arshad is gearing up for the release of Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and Saurabh Shukla. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the movie will hit the theatres on April 10, 2025.
