When Mrunal Thakur played Sriti Jha's younger sister in Kum Kum Bhagya

Mrunal Thakur started her career in the television industry with the 2012 series Mujhse Kuch Kehti... Yeh Khamoshiyaan on Star Plus. However, the series which also starred Mohit Segal in the lead role, failed to gain TRP since its inception and was brought off air within three months of its first episode which started in November.

Later, the actress joined Sriti Jha starrer Kum Kum Bhagya, which also starred Shabir Ahluwalia in the lead role. Mrunal Thakur played the role of Sriti's younger sister Bulbul.

It was after this show she stepped into the film industry with the 2018 film Love Sonia. Soon she starred opposite Hrithik Roshan in the 2019 film Super 30 and Batla House, starring John Abraham. The actress rose to fame after she starred opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the Telugu film Sita Ramam. She was recently seen in the film Hi Nanna, starring Telugu star Nani.
