Badshah Expresses Disappointment As Dallas Concert Gets Cut Short Midway: So Heartbroken

Singer-rapper Badshah reacted strongly when his concert in Dallas was cut short. He took to his social media account to pen a long note on the organisers being callous with the arrangement. Fans of the Naina hitmaker quickly sprung in his support. 

Badshah pens a long note for concert organisers

On June 15, Badshah took to his social media account to pen a long note when his concert was cut mid-way. While other details about why the concert was cut in the middle are yet to be disclosed, the rapper’s post has gone viral on social media. His fans extended their support to the singer’s sincere apology. 

Badshah wrote in his note, “DALLAS, I M Literally so heartbroken and bummed about what happened today. You guys are incredible and deserve better. I was really looking forward to performing in your city but due to a discrepancy between the local promoters and the production company I was forced to cut short the set and stop the show midway.” 

Badshah blames promoters for bad organisation

In the same post, the singer shifted the blame to the promoters for not being equipped with long-format shows. He wrote, “Promoters need to be better equipped, especially for large format shows and this kind of nonchalance is juts unacceptable to most performing artists. It takes a considerable amount of energy and effort to put together a tour of this scale. This isn’t fair to the fans who spend their hard-earned money to purchase that ticket, and it definitely isn’t fair to the whole crew who pours their hearts into putting on these tours. We rehearse for weeks, plan for months and travel tirelessly to bring you the best possible experience.” 

Badshah said, "The music industry is all about respect. Respect for the fans. As much it is about. Respect for the artists and the support crew. My management tried everything in their control to salvage the situation and ensure a smooth run. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, disappointment and irritation caused due to this sheer lack of management from the promoter's end. We will make sure things are better managed in future with a more competent promoter team that prioritizes a quality experience and understands that music and touring is a serious business."

As soon as he made the post, fans in the comment section wrote, “Who was the promoter? Just asking so that we can be careful in the future with our artists and tours.” Another wrote, “Really sad after whatever happened last night with Badshah Bhai. But we will be back soon.” Further details of the event are yet to be unveiled.
