Britney Spears recently published her memoir titled The Woman In Me. It has been in controversy ever since its release due to the several bombshell revelations the pop star made in the book. While Britney blasted her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake through various chapters in the book, the singer heaped praises on her former husband Sam Asghari.

Even though Britney and Sam recently ended their 14-month marriage citing "irreconcilable differences," the singer called her ex-partner "a gift from God." 

The excerpt from the book read, “I have an appreciation for how stable he is. I love that he doesn't even drink. I look up to him — his consistency with working out and being a good man and being healthy and taking care of me and helping me learn how we can take care of each other. He's such an inspiration and I'm grateful.”

Britney described meeting Sam for the first time on the set of her Slumber Party music video in 2016 in her memoir. The pop sensation clarified that she was "instantly smitten" with Sam and "immediately" realized she wanted him in her life. There were rumours of the physical trainer cheating on Spears during the first two weeks of their relationship, but the couple chose to disregard the unfavorable headlines.

The Woman In Me follow-up in works? 

Britney married Sam at her California home in June 2022. The couple only lasted 14 months before splitting up. Since her memoir was written before she filed for divorce, readers were already expecting to read a positive account of their relationship. 

Through her Instagram, Spears has alluded to a potential follow-up, saying that "volume 2 [is] coming after 1." However, her publisher, Gallery Books, has not made any official statements about a sequel to her memoir.
