Chris Pratt and Rob McElhenney, who have been friends with Deadpool 3 star Ryan Reynolds, wished him on the occasion of his 47th birthday.

Ryan Reynolds turned a year older on October 23. The Deadpool star, who is close with Rob McElhenney and co-owns football team Wrexham AFC with him, was wished by the latter in a fun way. For Reynolds' 47th birthday, McElhenney enlisted the help of actor Chris Pratt and posted a video to his 1.1 million followers on X (formerly Twitter), saying: "Happy birthday, @VancityReynolds. This year I had to bring in an actual superhero... @prattprattpratt."
The video goes on to show a meeting between the acting duo in which Rob unveiled his latest plan. Filmed in the style of Parks and Recreation, a show which Pratt starred in, Rob revealed his plan to update the site of the old Wrexham Hippodrome and turn it into a park. The video invited hilarious comments from netizens.
Rob reveals plans for Ryan's birthday
Speaking in the video over computer-generated images, Rob said, "We'll have open, green spaces, pop-up restaurants, we'll have movie screenings, there'll be actual green lanterns," he said in reference to Reynolds' 2011 film Green Lantern.
The clip went on to add that the park will feature a statue that "may or may not look like Ryan," before concluding with, "Happy birthday Ryan, thanks Chris. Visit ParksAndWrex.co.uk to find out more."

Ryan Reynolds to feature in Deadpool 3
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ryan Reynolds will feature in Deadpool 3 next. It is directed by Shawn Levy and will also feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. English actress Emma Corrin, best known for her role in the series The Crown, is now set to play a villainous role in Deadpool 3. She opened up on her new venture, saying that she is really excited to do her new role, though her current role in the movie is unknown.
The movie was filming in the UK before the SAG-AFTRA strike. Shoot on the project will be halted till the actors' strike ends. It is speculated that popstar Taylor Swift may make her Marvel debut with Deadpool 3. However, an official confirmation in this regard is still awaited.
