Diljit Dosanjh's current Dil-Luminati tour has been creating a buzz among his fans with a power-packed lineup of shows. After earning a whopping ₹234 crore in the USA and Canada with his glitzy performances, the Amar Singh Chamkila star is ready to perform in Europe and India starting from October 26. Following this, recent reports suggest that Diljit Dosanjh has already earned over ₹200 crore from his sold-out shows across India.

Diljit Dosanjh makes record in Indian music scene

As per new media reports, Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh's latest Dil-Luminati tour has shattered collection records, selling out all shows in just three minutes. The tour's pre-success has generated an estimated ₹149.21 crore (approximately $179 million USD) for the singer.

The tour's impressive revenue was driven by sold-out shows in Delhi and eight other cities. The 60,000-capacity Delhi venue alone generated ₹61.19 crore, while the other cities' 40,000-capacity venues contributed significantly to the total gross revenue of ₹38.75 crore.

Ticket sales were dominated by Gold Standing tickets, accounting for 60% of sales, followed by Fan Pit tickets at 30%, and Lounge tickets at 10%. Each 40,000-capacity venue generated an impressive ₹40.79 crore in revenue.

In terms of finances, estimated costs accounted for 45% of the gross revenue, totalling approx. ₹174.40 crore. Net revenue reportedly stood at ₹213.16 crore, with Diljit Dosanjh's estimated earnings, taking into account a 70% share of net revenue, reaching ₹149.21 crore.

Dijit Dosanjh earned crores in USA and Canada

Recently, Diljit’s manager, Sonali Singh, revealed details about ticket sales for the singer’s concert. In an interview with Connect Cine, she mentioned, “Resellers were offering tickets for $64,000 (₹54 lakh) and $55,000 (₹46 lakh), and there were buyers for these prices.” She added, “These were not the official ticket prices; reselling is a common trend.” Sonali Singh further revealed that the North America Dil-Luminati tour generated a hefty $28 million (₹234 crore).

Regarding the upcoming Europe tour, Sonali commented, “Tickets for the first UK show sold out within hours. We were initially unsure about a second show, but it too sold out by the next day. We considered adding a third show after a report indicated around 80,000 people were waiting for tickets.”
