Game of Thrones star Thor Bjornsson, wife Kelsey Henson lose baby girl at 21 weeks

Game of Thrones star Thor Bjornsson revealed that his wife Kelsey Henson had a late foetal loss on November 8. The couple shared a joint post on their social media handles informing their fans about the loss of their baby girl. The actor revealed that his daughter Grace Morgan Hafthorsdottir was delivered at 21 and a half weeks. They have also shared photos of their stillborn daughter.

On Friday, the couple shared the post on their respective Instagram handles explaining the circumstances. The post read, "T.W. stillbirth/delayed miscarriage. It is with great sorrow that we announce the birth of our daughter, Grace Morgan Hafthorsdottir born Nov 8th at 21 1/2 weeks gestation."

"After a noticeable decrease in movement, we found out her heart had stopped beating. Words cannot describe our pain of this loss or our happiness at being able to spend time with our daughter," Kelsey continued. Calling their daughter "beautiful, they wrote, "She is absolutely beautiful, with blonde lashes and brows and a little smile for mom and dad. The love we feel for her is overwhelming. The grief we feel will be with us forever but so will the love. All of our hopes and dreams for her have been taken away from us but I know I will be with her again."

They signed off the note with these words, "Her spirit lives on through us and her siblings. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time as we grieve this unbearable loss. Thank you all for any kind words and support."

The couple exchanged vows in October 2018 in the actor's home country of Iceland. The couple is parents to son Stormur, 3. Thor Bjornsson also shares daughter Theresa Líf with ex-girlfriend Thelma Björk Steimann.
