Genelia D'Souza's birthday note for husband Riteish Deshmukh goes viral

Riteish Deshmukh is celebrating his 45th birthday today, December 17 and on this occasion, wishes are pouring in from all corners. However, among all was his wife and actress Genelia D’Souza, who showered him with a heartfelt birthday post, calling him the 'greatest man in the entire universe'.

On Sunday, Genelia shared a monochrome picture, wherein the couple can be seen laughing candidly while holding onto each other. The actress' birthday note read, "If someone had to ask me "Who Riteish Deshmukh is??? - I would just say "The greatest man in the entire universe and that greatest man is all mine" Happy Birthday Navra.” For the unversed, 'navra' is a Marathi word for husband.

Along with the photo and caption, Genelia added the track Pehle Bhi Main, sung by Vishal Mishra and Raj Shekhar. The song is from the recently released movie Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.

Soon after the actress dropped the birthday post for Riteish, he immediately took to the comment section and replied: “I love you Baiko-you have no idea what you mean to me… you make my day special... you make my life special.”

Riteish's friends also flooded the comment section with birthday wishes. Jennifer Winget wrote: “Love you both! All heart.” Rakul Preet Singh wrote, "Happppy bdayyyyy". Amruta Khanvilkar wrote, "Happy bday".

Meanwhile, the couple is known for their social media PDA, and are often seen shelling couple goals on the internet. Genelia and Riteish tied the knot in a Marathi tradition on February 3, 2012. They also had a Christian wedding. The couple have two sons, Riaan and Rahyl.

On the work front, Riteish will be next seen in Kakuda, Visfot, and Housefull 5. Genelia, on the other hand, has Junior in the lineup.
