Liam Payne's former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles has finally reacted to the tragic death of the former. Harry took to his social media handle to share a heartfelt note expressing his disbelief at the passing of Liam. The singer died on Wednesday, October 16, after falling from the third floor at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Harry shared a photo of Liam Payne singing on the stage, followed by an emotional note mourning the loss of the musician. He started his note by sharing that he is "truly devastated" by Liam's passing. "His greated joy was making other people happy, and it was an honour to be alongside him as he did it," he began.

"Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious. He was warm, supportive, and incredibly loving. The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life. I will miss him always, my lovely friend," he added.

Harry concluded his note by writing, "My heart for Karen, Geoff, Nicola and Ruth, his son Bear, and all those around the world who knew and loved him, as I did."

Anne Twist, the mother of Harry Styles, has paid tribute to her son's One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne after his death at 31. "Just a boy," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of a broken heart emoji in front of a black background. Anne spent a lot of time with Payne through the years after her son Styles shot to fame with him on The X-Factor UK in 2010, reports People magazine.

Liam Payne is survived by his 7-year-old boy Bear, parents Karen Payne and Geoff Payne, and sisters Ruth Gibbins and Nicola Payne.
