The couple has reportedly been going through a rough patch for the past few months and Nilanjanaa's social media activity hints stand as proof. Recently, Nilanjanaa, who is also a producer, was hospitalised reportedly due to dehydration. She shared a photo from the hospital bed - her hand with an IV tube - and captioned it as "Broken but beautiful". This post was followed by another emotional post giving an insight into the possible crisis she has been facing and how it nearly broke her spirit. In the long post, she thanked her daughters Sara and Zara and her sister Chandana for being her pillars of strength. What grabbed everyone's attention was the post had no mention of her husband Jisshu, hinting that they are not on cordial terms.

She started her note by writing about her mother Anjana Bhowmick's death, "This year has been relentless. One loss after another. One hurdle after another. One battle after another. Yet... The Universal forces conspired to... Show me the true colours of life. Show me how broken can be beautiful. Show me that I am loved & protected. My heartbeats & my pillars of strength... Sara, Zara & Chandana. I love you."

She concluded her note by thanking everyone who called, messaged and reached out to check on her. "Right now... I need time... As I reassess, recalibrate & restart. Till then... Keep me in your prayers. #Brokenbutbeautiful," she wrote.

Rumours are rife that Jisshu, who has been travelling to Mumbai owing to work commitments, is allegedly having an extramarital affair. According to multiple media reports, Jisshu's alleged proximity with one of his co-workers has been causing trouble. It is being reported that the actor has even moved out of their house. However, neither Jisshu nor Nilanjaana has reacted to the speculations.
