Katrina Kaif opens up about her wedding to Vicky Kaushal post-lockdown, admits feeling anxious

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary on December 9. Now, ahead of the special day, the actress opened up about her marriage with the Sam Bahadur actress and how they had to wait to plan their wedding due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The couple got married in an intimate yet big fat wedding ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan in 2021.

During the Red Sea Film Festival, the actress discussed her marriage to Vicky and how they planned their wedding post-lockdown. The Bang Bang actress admitted to feeling anxious about gathering her family living in all corners of the world amid the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines. However, in the end, it all turned out to be "wonderful".

“We were trying to plan our wedding just as the world was opening up. Like many, many people, we had to wait for the lockdowns to be lifted so that we could have a wedding with all our families there and all that I was keeping my fingers crossed for was that my entire family had to be there from all the corners of the world which we managed. So that was wonderful," Katrina said.

After dating for a brief period, the couple decided to get married in the presence of their family and close friends. The three-day affair started with a mehendi ceremony, followed by haldi and sangeet ceremonies and concluded with a dreamy wedding. Instead of her brother, the actress' sisters walked her down the aisle paying tribute to her sisters.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Tiger 3 which was well received by the audience. Vicky, on the other hand, is basking in the success of his recently release film Sam Bahadur.
