Keeping Up With India: Kim-Khloe Give Traditional Wear Their Own Spin For Anant's Shubh Ashirwad

After making heads turn in Manish Malhotra couture at the wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant on July 12, sister duo Kim Kardashian and Khloe are set to attend the post-wedding festivities as well. Photos of the Amercian personalities and reality TV stars departing from their hotel in ethnic attires are now doing rounds on social media. The supermodels were spotted in dramatic traditional looks.

Even though the nuptials of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant concluded on July 12, the festivities will continue till July 14. A day after the event, the couple is hosting a Shubh Ashirwad ceremony for their friends and family. Kim Kardashian and Khloe were among the first guests at the star-studded affair. The sister-duo stunned in custom Tarun Tahoiliani Indian couture on their second day in the country. 

Kim Kardashian was spotted departing from her hotel in a beige lehenga with pink detailing and intricate embroidery. Her sister Khloe donned a pink saree with silver work. She paired the look with a matching blouse with tasselled beads for sleeves. However, it was the jewellery of the TV stars that really stood out. Kim truly embraced the Indian culture by accessorising her look with a statement diamond necklace along with matching earrings and maangtika. She looked at her classic dramatic touch by adding a diamond nose ring (nath). Khloe too, teamed her look with a diamond dangler earrings, a neckpiece and maangtika. The supermodel's neckpiece that ran till her mid-rib became the talking point of her outfit.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian styled by Dani Levi, were dressed in custom-made designs and jewellery by celebrity-favourite designer Manish Malhotra. While Kim was draped in a glittering red saree, Khloe opted for an ivory-gold saree with heavy embellishments. According to videos circulating on social media, the Kardashian sister duo were welcomed by Nita Ambani, the groom's mother, into the wedding hall. This is their first visit to India.

Kim and Khloe landed in Mumbai on early Friday morning with their staff and security detail in tow. They received a red carpet welcome at the Taj Mahal Hotel here and also took an auto rickshaw ride through the city's bustling streets in the run-up to the wedding. On Friday, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia's richest man, married pharmaceutical heiress and childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant at the star-studded event.
