Kim Kardashian Reacts To Viral Meme Comparing Her Anant Ambani Wedding Look With TV Vamp Komolika

Kim Kardashian's presence at the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's wedding became one of the talking points of the event. The American personality and Skims mogul was accompanied by her reality TV star sister Khloe Kardashian at the festivities. The desi looks of the supermodels quickly made their way on social media to give rise to several memes and funny clips.

Kim Kardashian's look draws parallel to Komolika 

For her second look at the Ambani's bash, Kim Kardashian opted for a beige lehenga custom-made by Tarun Tahiliani. Emrboridered net for sleeves, over-the-top jewellery, and a mid-rib flaunting blouse made the outfit dramatic. Netizens were quick to draw similarities between her look and popular TV vamp Komolika.

Urvashi Dholakia essayed the character of Komolika from the popular 2000s daily soap Kasauti Zindagii Kii. The character, which was usually an antagonist in the overall plot of the series, was dressed in dramatic attires teamed with over-the-top makeup. Thus Kim's look draws parallel from the character. As soon as the videos of the same went viral online, the supermodel herself took the comparison in stride. She took to her Instagram account to reshare the video with the caption, “Lol”.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian styled by Dani Levi, were dressed in custom-made designs and jewellery by celebrity-favourite designer Manish Malhotra. While Kim was draped in a glittering red saree, Khloe opted for an ivory-gold saree with heavy embellishments. According to videos circulating on social media, the Kardashian sister duo were welcomed by Nita Ambani, the groom's mother, into the wedding hall. This is their first visit to India.

Kim and Khloe landed in Mumbai on early Friday morning with their staff and security detail in tow. They received a red carpet welcome at the Taj Mahal Hotel here and also took an auto rickshaw ride through the city's bustling streets in the run-up to the wedding. On Friday, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia's richest man, married pharmaceutical heiress and childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant at the star-studded event.
