Reflecting on the past, Denise recounted the four key signs that alerted them to Nick's health condition. She mentioned symptoms like frequent urination, excessive thirst, fatigue, and unexplained weight loss.
"Nick was very enthusiastic as a child," Denise added. "He was very driven, so when he started to exhibit these signs, I was alarmed, but I think I was in denial."
Acknowledging his mother's initial disbelief due to his energetic nature as a child, Nick expressed gratitude for his family's vigilant observation, leading to his diagnosis at a critical juncture.
