Rashmika Mandanna reveals how her Varisu co-star Thalapathy Vijay inspires her

Rashmika Mandanna, set to star alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the much-anticipated film Animal has been actively engaged in the movie's promotional activities. During a recent promotional event, the actress delved into her previous Tamil release, Varisu, sharing her experiences of working with her co-star Thalapathy Vijay.

Reflecting on her collaboration with Vijay in Varisu, Mandanna expressed admiration for the actor's reserved demeanour. She revealed Vijay's inclination towards minimal speech, transforming their interactions into what she likened to an interview session. Learning from his calm approach, Mandanna spoke of imbibing Vijay's composed behaviour in dealing with emotions, both love and hate.

Playing Vijay's love interest in Varisu, Mandanna's on-screen chemistry with the actor garnered acclaim. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, their collaboration showcased a seamless synchronisation, particularly shining through their dance sequences in the movie's songs.

All we know about Rashmika's upcoming film Animal

Written-directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film Animal fuses elements typical of both South Indian and Bollywood films. Releasing on December 1, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and Suresh Oberoi, among others. The music composed by Pritam, Jaani, Manan Bharadwaj, Vishal Mishra among others with the BGM of Harshwardhan Rameshwar is solid and well suited for a gangster film.

Meanwhile, the film is an ode to strained childhood and Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Arjun Singh who always idolises his father but rarely gets anything from him. Though Balbir does love his son, his work as a businessman keeps him occupied. Neglected though still a loving son, as he grows up Arjun has a family of his own with his wife Geetanjali (Rashmika Mandanna). Also, the film is set to clash with the Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur at the box-office.
