It's Controversial/ Rave party to G20 flower pot theft: Five times Elvish Yadav ran into controversies

Elvish Yadav has once again landed himself in a controversy. On November 3, five people were arrested from Noida for allegedly supplying snakes and venom for rave parties, reportedly organised by YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav, who is on the run. While the YouTuber is all over the headlines, this is not the first time his name has popped up in a controversy. 

Elvish Yadav booked for organising rave parties with snake venom

As per PTI, the Noida Police has booked Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav and arrested five people for the alleged use of snake venom at rave parties, officials said on Friday. Yadav, a popular YouTuber and social media influencer, refuted the charges and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the police in the investigation. Nine snakes, including cobras, were also rescued from the possession of those arrested, who had landed at a banquet hall in Sector 51 on Thursday for a party, which was a trap laid by animal rights group People for Animals (PFA), officials said. Police seized 20 millilitres of snake venom stored in a plastic bottle from the possession of the accused and it has been sent for testing to ascertain if it is psychotropic to induce a party drug-like effect in the human body.

When Elvish Yadav allegedly stole flower pots during the G20 summit in New Delhi 

Days ahead of the G20 event held in the National Captial this year, a video of a few men stealing flower pots from Shankar Chowk near the Delhi-Gurgaon highway went viral. In the video, the men could be seen lifting the flower pots from the intersection and keeping them in the boot of their SUV cars. Followers of the YouTuber claimed to have seen the same car on his YouTube channel and even matched the number plates. However, Evlish had denied the claims at the time. 

Elvish Yadav vs Dhruv Rathee 

In what came to be known as one of the most infamous social media battles, Elvish Yadav locked horns with Dhruv Rathee, another YouTuber. The fight between the two content creators started based on a political difference. In one of his videos, Rathee was seen being critical towards the government, which did not go down well with Elvish. He claimed that Rathee was brainwashing his followers with his ‘propaganda’ filled content. The video gained popularity online with both pirates going back and forth on claims, allegations, and name-calling. 

Elvish Yadav's roast became the talk of the internet 

Elvish Yadav gained popularity from his roast videos. Popular Instagram content creator Kusha Kapila and other women creators became a target for him on one such roast he did in collaboration with Lakshay Chaudhary. The video released by the YouTubers was considered to be in bad taste and was also labelled as ‘misogynist’ and ‘sexist’. It even triggered actress Kusha Kapila to release an ‘un-roast’ video in retaliation to his roast, calling out the sexist content. 

Elvish Yadav accused of fat-shaming Ashika Bhatia 

Another roast video on YouTube received flak when he insulted Parvarish actress Ashika Bhatia. In his video, he body-shamed Ashika by making nasty comments about her weight. The actress went to the lengths of even suing the content creator. Their enmity became popular and they went on to participate in a reality show together.
