Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently attended a promotional event in Mumbai, amid her career break. The actress took to her social media account to share monochromatic photos from the event. What caught the attention of the eagle-eyed fans was the missing tattoo from her hips.
The curious case of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s tattoo
On November 3, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a collage of her photos from the event. In one of the monochromatic pictures, the Kushi actress could be seen flaunting her mid-rib. Eagle-eyed fans of the actress noticed the missing tattoo of the ‘Chay’, which she had gotten done on her mid-rib. However, in the new photos, the tattoo was not visible.
For the unversed, earlier Samantha got her hip inked with the word ‘Chay’ which is the nickname of her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. The actress was married to the Majili actor from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, she also has two other tattoos, one on the back of her neck which read, “YMC”, the initials of her first movie, Ye Maaya Chesave. The film was released in 2010 and also starred her former husband Naga Chaitanya. She has another tattoo on her right wrist which shows an upward arrow. Chaitanya also had a similar tattoo on his wrist.

This is not the first time the actress has made news of the missing tattoo from her midrib. A day before sharing these photos, the actress had also shared a photo from her photoshoot. In the saree, she flaunted her bare mid-rib which also showed no sign of a tattoo.

Before this, photos of her in a neon pink saree also went viral. She teamed the saree with a halter neck blouse and the tattoo remained missing then as well. That was the first time when the actress made headlines for having removed the tattoo, with many claiming that she might have hid it with makeup. However, the series of recent posts by the actress has confirmed that she got the tattoo removed, post her divorce.
