Sonakshi Sinha's Brother Luv Says 'Family Comes First' Reacting To Rumours Of Skipping Her Wedding

Sonakshi Sinha recently tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony on June 23 in Mumbai. However, the actor received flak for her inter-religious union. Some even alleged that her brother Luv Sinha did not attend the festivities, because of his disapproval of the relationship. However, Luv has now clarified the same. 

Luv Sinha hits back at ‘online campaign’ against him

On June 30, days after the wedding of Sonakshi with Zaheer, Luv Sinha took to his Instagram stories to break the silence on the real reason why he did not attend Sonakshi’s wedding. He slammed an ‘online campaign’ running against it. 

Luv took to his Instagram account to share a post he made on the app Threads. He wrote in the post, “Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me my family will always come first.” His statement made it clear that his absence from the wedding festivities had nothing to do with his disapproval for the relationship.

On June 27, days after her wedding, Sonakshi Sinha took to her Instagram account to share the official wedding video. The actress shared glimpses of her civil marriage which took place at her new apartment, 81 Aureate, which is located near the Rang Sharda Auditorium in Bandra West, Mumbai. In the video, both the bride and groom could be seen singing the official documents for the wedding. 

The family members of both the bride and groom could also be seen in the background. In the video, actors Siddharth and Huma Qureshi could be seen cheering for the new couple. Some of the guests at the wedding could heard singing Sona Kitna Sona Hai for the bride. The actress’ friends on the other hand shouted, ‘jija ji aa gaye’. As soon as the couple signed the document, the actress broke down in happy tears and shared a warm hug with her husband.
