Sonali Bendre describes her Ganges trip as a 'slice of heaven', shares photos

Sonali Bendre recently took to her Instagram and shared photos of her visit to the Ganges. The actress was seen enjoying her moment of peace.

Actress Sonali Bendre spent her quality time by the side of the Ganges. Sonali took to her Instagram and shared photos of Ganges and captioned it, "Ganges view. Slice of heaven." She was seen wearing a grey tracksuit and chose a no-makeup look as she left her hair open. In the scenic picturesque of rivers and mountains, Sonali looked pretty. The actor also shared another close photo of herself and added a sun and black heart emoji with it.

Sonali Bendre's personal life 

In 2018, Sonali was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer and underwent treatment in the USA. After undergoing treatment for months, she finally defeated the disease and survived. Since then, she has been actively voicing her opinion and raising the awareness about cancer. She underwent treatment in New York and Mumbai, including chemotherapy and surgery.

Sonali Bendre professional front 

On the professional front, Sonali recently made her OTT debut with ZEE5's series, Broken News where she played the role of a journalist named Amina Qureshi. Sonali was also seen among the panels of judges along with Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur on India's Best Dancer 3.

In an interview to a chat show, Sonali revealed that the lost out on roles in the 90s because film directors were under pressure from the underworld. They could do nothing about it. The actress added that there were a lot of unregulated finance and banks will not give it to you. She did modelling assignments prior to making her acting debut with Aag (1994), which won her Filmfare Award for New Face of the Year and Screen Award for Best Female Debut.

Sonali made her acting debut with the 1994 film Aag co-starring Govinda, Shilpa Shetty and Shakti Kapoor. Her first big hit was the action romance Diljale which was released in 1996. Sonali later gave several hits including Major Saab, Sarfarosh, Duplicate, Zakhm, Chori Chori and Hum Saath Saath Hain, among others.
