Viral: Jon Bon Jovi Helps Talk Woman Down From Ledge On Nashville Bridge

Jon Bon Jovi, who gained worldwide fame with his 1986 breakthrough album Slippery When Wet which included smash hit singles You Give Love a Bad Name and Livin' On A Prayer, played a hero in real life. The iconic rock star helped in saving a woman and the video of it is now going viral on social media.

In the viral video, Jon Bon Jovi helped stop a woman from jumping off a Nashville bridge on Wednesday, likely saving her life. It can be seen that the singer approaches the woman as she appears about to jump.

Shortly after, Bon Jovi and the other woman over the railing were away from the danger. After the woman was back on the pedestrian path, she and Bon Jovi hugged. 

According to reports, Jon Bon Jovi was filming a music video and his team noticed a woman standing on the ledge of a bridge in Nashville. The video was even shared by the Nashville Police Department, which shows the musician approaching the woman very calmly with another woman.

Along with the video, the caption to the post shared read, “A shout out to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman in #Nashville on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.” "It takes all of us to help keep each other safe," --Chief John Drake.

After the video went viral, fans flooded the comment section to appreciate and acknowledge his act. One user wrote, “It is not about being famous and rich. It is about having the gift of connecting with people in their most vulnerable and painful state, that makes us the real heroes. I hope that lady gets the help she needs. Bon Jovi is a real asset, not because of his music, but because of his humanity.”

Another user wrote, “Major kudos to his lady friend too! Most people just need to feel seen, heard and loved”.  “He is a human, dad, husband etc..he would want anyone to do that for his family. .. I hope she gets the help she needs in every capacity”, wrote the third user.
