The Vishal and SJ Suryah starrer Mark Antony has enjoyed a successful run at the box office. Its gross collections in India have been upwards of ₹83 crores, as per a Sacnilk report. Additionally, the film has raked in ₹19 crores overseas taking its total collections past the ₹100 crore threshold. To celebrate the same, the film's producer has extended a massive gesture towards the film's director, Adhik Ravichandran.

Mark Anthony producer gifts a luxury car to Adhik Ravichandran

Mark Anthony producer Vinod Kumar has extended a notable gesture towards the film's producer Adhik Ravichandran. In lieu of the film's strong success, Kumar has gone ahead and gifted Ravichandran a luxury car - a BMW. Commemorating the moment with a social media post, Ravichandran not only shared a video of him being handed the car keys but also expressed his gratitude to the team of Mark Antony.

The Mark Antony versus CBFC controversy

Shortly post the release of the film on September 15 of this year, actor Vishal took to his social media handles with a confession video admitting to have bribed a CBFC official to obtain the certification for the Hindi-dubbed version of the film. 

He revealed how he was forced to take this step to ensure a smooth release for the film while levying accusations of corruption on the board. An investigation was launched into the murky controversy over unethical practices.
