When Abhishek Bachchan revealed who makes up in a fight between Aishwarya Rai and him

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been married for over 16 years. In an old interview, the couple spilled beans on who apologises first when they fight.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been married for more than 16 years now. The actors tied the knot on April 20, 2007, after dating for a few years. Three years after their wedding, in 2010, the Dhoom 2 co-stars, in an interview, shared how their relationship has changed following their marriage. 

When Aishwarya Rai said Abhishek Bachchan and her fight every day 

In a 2010 interview with Vogue India, the couple spilt beans on their equation after marriage. When asked about how often they fight, Aishwarya Rai said in the beat, “Oh, every day”. However, Abhishek Bachchan interrupted and cleared that they do not ‘fight’ every day.

The Bol Bachchan actor added, “But they’re more like disagreements, not fights. They’re not serious, they’re healthy. It’d be really boring otherwise.” A clip of the couple from the interview went viral on social media. 

Abhishek Bachchan reveals he is the one to make up in fights

In the same interview, Abhishek Bachchan was also asked who apologizes first when the couple disagrees. Without missing a beat, the Ghoomer actor said, “Me! Me. Women don’t make up! But we have a rule—we don’t sleep on a fight.” He also gave shelled advice to all the men of the country.

He said, “And in defence of all men, I want to tell you, half the time the reason we give in and say sorry is because we’re just so sleepy and want to go to bed!” Adding to his point, he argued that women are always right and so men should accept they are in the wrong and apologise. He concluded, “Besides, women are the superior race, and they’re always right. The sooner men accept that, the better. It doesn’t matter what you say, even if you have concrete proof, in their world, it’s futile, it makes no sense.”
