Ranveer Singh has been in the news ever since he appeared on a chat show with his wife Deepika Padukone. On the show, they opened up about their relationship, dreamy wedding proposal and him delivering three back-to-back flops with 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus. During the show, the actor revealed how he met Deepika after his breakup from a long-term relationship. Now amid this, a video is going viral on the internet in which Anushka can be heard revealing why she wouldn't have ever dated Ranveer. Ever since the two worked together in the film Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), fans have speculated that they dated at the time.

Why Anushka Sharma wouldn’t date Ranveer Singh?

Ranveer Singh, who made his debut alongside Anushka Sharma's Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) was rumoured to be dating her. However, the actress denied the speculations and revealed why she wouldn't date the 83 actor. Speaking to Simi Garewal, she said, "If you know Ranveer and me really well if people get to know us really well, they realise that we’re very different people."
 

"We have a very volatile relationship. Yeah, we can kill each other. I’m serious, I can take his head off, he can take mine off… If we ever had to be in a relationship, we would want two different things from a relationship. We see life in a very different way. He’s a very practical person, I’m completely impractical," she continued. She concluded by saying that he is attractive and she likes him, but for her, a relationship can't be frivolous. She would like to be with a man who can calm her down.

During his recent appearance at a chat show, Ranveer revealed his first meeting with Deepika at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house describing her "saadgi ki moorat". And how a gush of wind from the sea made her look "angelic" when she opened the bulky doors of the director's house. Soon after the episode was released, netizens were quick to notice the similarities between Deepika and Anushka's first meeting experience.

When Ranveer appeared with Anushka Sharma in 2011 on the chat show, he described meeting Anushka in the same manner. She opened the giant door at Yash Raj Films (YRF) studios and a gush of wind left her hair flowing.

Professionally, apart from Band Baaja Baaraat, Ranveer and Anushka have starred in two other films - Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Dil Dhadakne Do. Whereas, Ranveer and Deepika have worked together in Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat.
