The director of the 2008 hit series Twilight, Catherine Hardwicke recently appeared on Monday’s podcast episode of Happy Sad Confused and revealed the details in a segment of the podcast that her surprise was the fun thing during the birthday of her ex and co-star.

Ten years after their break up, director Catherine Hardwicke shared that Kristen, unannounced, crashed Robert's 37th birthday celebration. Catherine said “Strangely enough, I went to Rob’s birthday party recently. I kinda crashed with my friend Toni Collette, who had just done a movie with him."
Sharing that her unplanned reunion was fun for everyone, she said, “We had a fun thing, and then Kristen crashed it too. That was just a few months ago, and it was just like, ‘Oh my god!’ We all hugged each other — like, this is so crazy and cool.”

Recalling every detail of the birthday party which became a memorable moment that they will cherish for years to come, Catherine said, "When Kristen walked into Rob’s birthday, she’s like, ‘Catherine? Rob’s birthday? What’s going on?'” She continued, “I go, ‘I kinda crashed it with Toni.’ And she goes, ‘Well, I crashed it too.'”

The 33-year-old actress was in a relationship with her Twilight co-star from 2009 to 2013. Robert Pattinson turned 37 in the month of May. Toni has worked together on a project with Twilight fame star, titled Mickey 17. This movie is scheduled to release in 2024.
