When Sobhita Dhulipala Called Naga Chaitanya's Ex-wife Samantha 'Super Cool', Old Video Surfaces

Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala Engaged: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who had kept their relationship private, finally got engaged today (August 8), in an intimate ceremony attended by their parents. Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna, confirmed the news of their engagement by sharing the first photos of the couple from the event. Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They announced their separation on social media in a joint statement in October 2021.

Amid this, an old video of Sobhita Dhulipala talking about Naga Chaitanya and Samantha has resurfaced online.

During the promotion of the thriller series The Night Manager in 2023, Sobhita sat in an interview where she was asked about what she admired most in actors who transitioned from the South Indian film industry to make a mark in Bollywood. The actress was asked to talk about several stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhas and also Samantha Ruth Prabu and Naga Chaitanya. Talking about the Citadel star, Sobhita called her ‘cool’ and expressed admiration for Samantha's journey in the film industry as well as her acting abilities. 

When Naga Chaitanya's name was mentioned, the actress praised his temperament and calm nature. Sobhita remarked, “I think his temperament too, he seems such a cool-headed, calm guy, very dignified. I really appreciate it” After the announcement of her engagement with Naga Chaitanya, this old video of the actress is doing rounds on social media with fans commenting “What an effortless acting at Naga?”

Naga Chaitanya began dating Made In Heaven actress Sobhita Dhulipala months after splitting with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021. Rumours about their relationship first surfaced in the year 2022, when the couple's vacation pictures in Europe began circulating on social media. 

Putting an end to all speculations, actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged at a private ceremony in Hyderabad in the presence of the couple's families and friends. For the special day, Naga Chaitanya opted for a white kurta pyjama and teamed with a matching dupatta. Sobhita looked beautiful in a peach-hued traditional saree. For glam, she carried a subtle makeup look and kept her hair in a bun accessorized with flowers.
