Zeenat Aman says she has thrown out all her high heels
On October 17, Zeenat Aman took to her social media account to share a photo from a recent event she attended in New Delhi. She revealed that from the outfit to the jewellery, everything she has donned in the photograph was either borrowed or gifted to her by her designer friends. She also revealed that most of the fancy outfits celebrities wear are routed through the designers and returned to them after.

Reasoning why she shared the information, the veteran star claimed that she does not want young people to burn a hole in their pockets. She wrote, “I don’t want young people to feel pressured to buy new outfits or spend beyond their means just because they see celebrities in designer clothes. ”

In the same post, Zeenat insisted that she always prefers to wear outfits that don't ‘break the bank’ and that one enjoys. She mentioned, “Whether you borrow, thrift, or buy, what matters is that you don’t break your bank, and actually enjoy what you wear. And of course, in my books, comfort is key!” Citing examples of how she chooses comfort over fashion she mentioned, “In fact, I’ve thrown out all my high heels.”
