Zeenat Aman shares video of her mural at Mumbai airport, pens a note on ‘a productive 2023’

Zeenat Aman, popular Bollywood actress who ruled the roost in 70s and 80s, is one of the rare old-timers who has managed to reinvent themselves so well. The veteran actress who joined Instagram earlier this year, instantly bowled everyone over with her wit and wisdom-filled posts. In a recent Instagram post, Zeenat Aman shared a snippet from her visit to Mumbai airport which has installed a mural of the actress.

2023 was a productive year for me: Zeenat Aman

Taking to her Instagram page, Zeenat Aman posted a brief video of her large, vibrant mural overlooking the walkaway at the airport, and eventually Zeenat Aman passed by the frame. The actress captioned her post with the text, “The past is etched in stone, or in this case, painted on the walls! You can’t change it, but you can always shape the future.”

The actress added in her note, “Gliding by a mural of myself, and some of the greatest icons of Indian Cinema, that I stumbled upon at Mumbai’s International airport.”

Talking about how the year 2023 marked a major shift in Zeenat Aman’s public and private life, the actress noted “2023 was a raucous and productive year for me, let’s see how 2024 unfolds. I’m grateful to each one of you on this journey with me. Cheers to chapters unwritten, a canvas untouched and a year filled with infinite joy.”

Aman to return to big screen with Manish Malhotra’s film

The post is now going viral online, with many notable celebrities reacting to it with awe and amazement. Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi actress Chitrangada Singh commented under the post, “Icon (heart emoji).” Meanwhile, 80s actress and Zeenat Aman’s Insaf Ka Tarazu co-star Padmini Kolkapure commented, “Epic.”

The Satyam Shivam Sundaram actress who had taken a break from acting, will be seen again on the big screen in Manish Malhotra’s production debut Bun Tikki, co-starring with Abhay Deol and Shabana Azmi. Additionally, the veteran actress is also a part of upcoming film titled Madgaon: The Closed File.
